The project comprised a major extension to the Sheraton Hotel, Kuwait. The extension included 120 additional rooms, a ‘grand ballroom’ located on the roof, a restaurant at ground floor level and an added basement to accommodate the kitchen, laundry rooms, stores and some offices.
The architectural concept and appearance of the extension adhere to the old hotel. The structure is made of cast in situ reinforced concrete. The external works, pergolas and surrounding pavement were also designed to be in harmony with the old hotel.
